Sosiaalisen solidaarisuuden käänne vammaisten lasten tutkimuksessa

Artikkelissa luomme katsauksen vammaisten lasten tutkimuksessa tapahtuneisiin tutkimusparadigman muutoksiin. Pohdimme, millaiset vammaisuuteen liittyvät käsitykset ja määritelmät vaikuttavat siihen, miten tutkimme ”vammaista lasta”. Tarkastelemme muutoksia vammaisuuden määrittelyssä ja määrittelyjen vaikutuksia käytäntöihin erityisesti koulutuksellisen inkluusion kontekstissa. Määritelmät ja tutkimusorientaatiot ovat muuttuneet vammaisten yhteiskunnallisen aseman muutoksien myötä. 1980-luvulta lähtien haavoittuvuuden sijaan tutkimuksessa on kiinnitetty huomiota lasten oikeuksiin ja heidän toimijuutensa. The sociodemographic situation in CEE, characterized by the reduction of birth rate and increased share of elderly, draws attention to national social protection systems and in particular to public pension systems. The direct link between the labor market and public pension systems, based on the principle of social solidarity between generations, runs the risk of diminishing budgetary resources obtained from social contributions, while spending on benefits will increase, due to a higher number of beneficiaries, as well as due to the increase in life expectancy, which will determine that the period for which the benefits will be provided will be longer.
Measuring Social Solidarity. Some Research Notes

Abstract There is an increasing public, political and research interest in social solidarity. Even though the concept has a long history and is embedded in solid approaches, there is not much literature concerned with its measurement. The paper falls into the area of the methodological studies of social solidarity and it deals with construct validation. The objective of this paper is to test for convergent validity and nomological validity of two sets of items aiming to measure social solidarity attitudes and acts. The main method employed is confirmatory factor analysis.
